YoLead supports a connected personal Telegram account as a company channel. It is separate from a Telegram Bot channel: Groups, channels, secret chats, Saved Messages, bots, and service messages are not supported as Telegram Account conversations.

Recipients and outbound conversations

Employees can reply to an existing Telegram Account chat or start a new conversation through the YoLead application and embedded iframe. Starting a new conversation requires channel access and outbound chat initiation on the company’s current plan. In the iframe, it also requires startOutboundChat; sending in an existing iframe chat requires showSendInput. Contact identities can include telegram_user_id, telegram_phone, or telegram_username. Supply phone numbers in international format, such as +375291234567. YoLead resolves an outbound recipient to a Telegram user; Telegram can restrict lookup or delivery to that user. JPEG/PNG photos and documents are supported. A send can contain one file or a group of up to five photos or up to five documents, with an optional caption of up to 1024 characters. Photos and documents cannot be mixed in the same group. See Embed capabilities for attachment limits.

History and attachments

Public API ticket history and incoming-message webhooks use the existing ticket and message contracts. Messages can contain attachment descriptors, and Telegram album messages in Public API history can include mediaGroupId. When a conversation is initialized, YoLead can import up to 50 earlier available messages into a linked inactive ticket. Imported messages can include attachment metadata. History already stored in YoLead remains accessible after the channel is disconnected, subject to company access and plan restrictions.

Sending restrictions

Telegram account restrictions, connection availability, and sending cooldowns can prevent a reply or a new conversation. An unknown sending result does not establish that delivery failed; avoid sending the same message again while its outcome is unresolved. Connecting or restoring the Telegram account is performed in the YoLead application. It is not part of the public /v1 REST API.
